Our Campus

You Belong Here

UCR is a university of distinction and diversity where you can get a world-class education, prepare for a career and make lifelong friendships. UCR is one of the 10 campuses of the prestigious University of California, and is the fourth most diverse university in the nation.

Located just 50 miles east of Los Angeles, UCR offers it all — esteemed academics, faculty, research and resources, a strong Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community, ongoing events, and proximity to desert, mountain and coastal destinations. No matter who you are or where you’re from, you're welcome here.

In 1982, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students made up just 10 percent of UCR’s undergraduate population and 8 percent of the graduate student body. Today, nearly one-third of the entire student body is comprised of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students. Through Asian Pacific Student Programs, the Asian Pacific Islander Student Advisory Council and various affiliated student organizations, we unite as a community to support each other and enrich the campus with engaging cultural activities and events.
